People say that your wedding day is the quickest day of your life. I can attest that those people do not lie. Our day was flawless, filled with joy and love in its purest form. I desperately wanted to take everything from that day: the sights, the sounds, and most of all the feelings, and bottle them up, so I might enjoy a piece when the days are long. While this is not possible, Sonja provides the next best thing. She possesses a sensitivity that is entirely unique, and the results scream this. There is not a single photo from our wedding that did not showcase the beauty and personality of our guests, the setting, and our promise. She captures magic that only a true artist can recognize, and we remain ever grateful for that.

I immediately felt comfortable with Sonja! She is relaxed & personable yet confident, knowing how to provide direction during the session to capture the uniqueness of the people being photographed. My family and I had a great time with her. She told us it was her goal to make us forget that she was there even if only for a few minutes so we would have more authentic & meaningful photos. That made us feel like we were important to her and looking through the pictures now, she definitely succeeded! Such beautiful images. Our experience with Sonja was professional and fun from the beginning. During our initial meeting my fiancé and I were chaotically brainstorming what we wanted and how we wanted our wedding to feel, and she was able to go from that conversation and some emails to create the look and feel of exactly what we wanted... and much more. The above and beyond work that she did made our wedding pictures beautifully classic yet modernly hip, and drastically different than the cookie cutter shots we'd seen from other wedding photographers. We absolutely love the pictures. She was also very professional day of the wedding, and we were able to finish our wanted shots in half the time and get even more pictures! She had a way of being right in the middle of the action to get the shots, but not being in the way or drawing attention to the camera so guests could be themselves.

We loved using Sonja for our wedding. She felt like a natural extension of us throughout the day, and we felt like the pictures really captured the essence and vibe.
